Hi. Sorry about the double post, but i put the other post in the wrong forum and i don't know how to move it to this one!
anyways, I am trying to hatch two chicken eggs that our red star hens laid in my homemade bator. It is working well! The temp. is quite steady(around 98-101 degrees F.) and the eggs are on day #5.
When they hatch, do I leave them in the bator until they are dry and standing, and then replace the bator for a plastic bin with water/food and a light? This is my first time hatching chicks!
