chicks in incubator

can first hatched chicks stay in incubator for 36 hrs til most eggs hatch.will they live that long.

They will live that long but they will probably do a lot of bulldozing of the other eggs. I just keep a spray bottle of water handy and when the chick is thoroughly dry I will quickly take it out and then shoot a fine mist of water into the incubator. I also keep a cool mist vaporizer going in the room during the hatch so that I don't lose much humidity in the incubator when it is opened.
