Hi I have a duck with her 1 week old ducklings in a pen but I also have a hen eggs hatching as we speak there in a small shed with another hen that’s sitting, after the eggs have all hatched with the ones that are hatching now can I put her and her chicks in with my duck and her ducklings so the other hen that is sitting can have some peace or will Ihave to make a new shed and pen?

I would be concerned about putting the hen in with the duck because the duck may not be very welcoming since she has babies. Another concern is if the ducks have any kind of water they can get into, baby chicks can drown very easily. This is just my opinion. You can leave the one hen that has babies and the one that is still broody together. Many of my hens raised their babies together.

ok I will leave them in there together. just there was 2 chicks on the broody hen and i dont want her to stop brooding.
Thank you both for you're post's
