Ok, So a few of my hens went broody and there babies started hatching today. The chicks seem to be doing great in with the hens but I am wondering if I should pull them out? I am a first ime natural mother here.... every other chick hatched on my small farm was in a bator so I am soooo lost right now

Well I have a sebright hen that has chicks with her, while there are 30 other chickens around. Mothers are very defensive when it comes to their chicks (not really towards humans, but predators and other chickens). I'd say they'll be ok for the most part if your chickens aren't aggressive.

My limited observation on our Frizzle Banty hen was that she was very protective of her little ones, even standing up to the full-sized chickens. I think that the chicks will be fine. By the way, the Banty hen gave her life to the fox to protect her chicks. Bruce
