chicks just arrived, 2 DOA one silkie needs help

Is she eating? If not try to pep up her appetite. Run some of the starter crumbles through a blender to make them more dust than crumbles. Add applesauce to moisten it and see if she will eat. If you don't have applesauce run a piece of canned fruit through the blender or mash with fork. You are doing a terrific job.

The chicks are from Ideal Poultry. I believe she was hatched yesterday or the day before? Ideal shipped them on the 17th.

She is not eating yet, so I'll try to mash up the food and get her to eat. She does seem to be getting better though.

You really want to watch her and make sure she is not getting trampled by the others. i've had this happen with a weak chick. Didn't notice it was lethargic and it was sleeping a lot and then getting stepped on. By the time i pulled it out, i think it had suffered internal injuries, because it didn't survive.

You have some great suggestions here with the polyvisol (without iron) or some sugar in the water, and the mashed food. Don't worry if she doesn't eat that much, she still has the yolk sac for nutrition.

I have a sick pullet and I have been feeding a liquid made up of powdered starter, acidopholis yougert, meds, and water. I use an eye dropper. The pullet has started to perk up and is lapping the stuff from the dropper.

If you have a dehydrated bird, unflavored pedialyte is great to give.

Update- She is up and walking around!! She is even cleaning herself! Thank you guys soooo much, I couldn't have done it without you! I really think she is going to make it now that she has eaten, and I'm sending my husband out for some vitamins to help her out some more.
