Hi there! I am new to chickens and have a question! I let my chicks in their coop during the day and bring them in to their little brooder box area during night. I have my coop pretty much all set up for when they are fully grown (nesting boxes, roosts, etc). Today I found 5 of them laying in one of the nesting boxes and dozing off! Is this okay? Should I let them continue or disturb them to move them to a roost whenever I see them sleeping there? Will this affect their egg laying in the future? (we are many months away from that, but I still worry lol)
Thanks so much for the help!

Hi! All of my chickens liked to sleep in the nest boxes when they were babies. Often, chicks do not roost yet because they are too young, so they pick the coziest spot possible, which usually means a nest box. The only issue is... the poop. But they should start roosting before they start laying, so you will have time to clean the nest boxes.
