Chicks Legs are Lame Had to cull

keep the hair tie down close to his feet not past the ankle or the part that bends

you want to position the feet as if they were in normal position, dont' be afraid to grab the one that's going towards the back.... Once you get the hair tie on, he should start to sit on his feet instead of his belly.. Of course he will still put his belly on top of his feet until he's little legs get strong enough to hold himself up... You may need some help, have someone put the hair tie on his feet while the other is holding his feet forward..

It was suffering when we put it's legs forward. I hated to but had to cull it. I did not want it to be in pain. Everything we tried wasn't working. I guess it's part of raising chicks

Its probably for the best. Looks like its one of those things.
