chicks losing thir coat

Have two chick in a makeshift brooder for my son. Looks like it is going bald. Got my chicks april 6th is the chick losing its bay down and am I overreacting? It is getting feathers and has been eating and acting fine. Am new to chickens and just want to be sure it is ok. The other chicken seems to be fine, ready to put them out with some banties that I bought earlier. Just dont know what I am doing so advice would be helpful

it sounds ok. is it gettin too cold? and could you put some pictures up of the chicken?

I'd think it is part of the feathering process. You might check this site to see if you see anything that might be wrong.
