chicks lying sideways

my chicks will sometimes ly down on ther sides. is that normal, i think its because they dont have a roost yet.

I thought that when they did hat they were trying to give themselves a dust bath. Mine do it as well.

Mine also have a roost and I'm amazed how the little ones can fly up there!
They also like to lay down.

Yup, mine sleep that way too. One of the brahmas always falls asleep standing up, then her head hits the ground before her body, she'll balance like that for a while then fall over asleep....too funny. MIne try to perch, some are better at it than others.
