Chicks not able to sit up/ walk, and are very wobbly.

Ive been trying to find corid just to have on hand before this started but cant find it. I've seen it be recommended the most but something else with aprolium will still work if it's coccidiosis. Could I mix some medicated feed with their non medicated?

Medicated feed may not be enough at this stage. I would definitely try to source the Corid. If you do try to just feed the medicated feed, do NOT mix it in with regular feed. They will be that much further from a therapeutic dose.

I'll check if TSC has some other aprolium product before trying medicated feed. I don't know if it's even cocci. Shedrinks and was eating on her own yesterday.

You might try the Jeffers catalog (online). They probably have Corid, and most any other medications you might need for your birds. Jeffers is a livestock catalog that has been around, probably, forever.

I found it at TSC. I was looking in the wrong area evidently. I don't know how fast it kicks in but she started drinking water on her own. And she took a few steps forward just fine. Normally she'd try but end up stumbling backwards. Doubt the polyvisol has hurt though.

It usually starts to work pretty quickly, within a couple of days.

I found Corid at a local feed store. Tractor Supply was out. Treated water in in with all the chicks now. Fingers crossed they pull through. The Speckled Sussex is my wife's favorite breed.

Two days into treating with Corid, and they are getting no better. I'll continue to treat with Corid for another few days, and of no one has any better ideas, I'm going to switch to an antibiotic.

I'm having to move the sickest chick to water and dip her beak to get her to drink. One chick will drink and eat on her own if I put her near it. The other two are able to eat and drink, but they look like they are drunk. Stumbling around and unable to stand for very long.

The 'drunkenness' comes from nutrient deficiency. The cocci are essentially eating away the lining of the chicks' intestines, making it impossible for the chicks to get the nutrients that they need. The wobbliness is not likely to improve until the cocci are in significant decline. The way that Corid works is that it blocks the uptake of thiamine, which is essential for the cocci to reproduce. Eventually the cocci just live out their lifespan and die. Even then, it may take some time and some vitamins to get them back to where they should be.
