Wobbly 5 Week Old Chick

I don’t think this poor girl is going to make it much longer. She is so severely unstable to the point where she falls over and struggles to get up now 😔 I’ve been doing the vitamins and egg yokes every day and watching her droppings and everything else. The only thing I haven’t been able to do is get a good look inside her ears. 2 of the others went to their permanent home this weekend (that was always the plan, to only keep 2. TSC minimums made me buy 4) so I’m worried about the last one being alone. What can I do 😭

I'm so sorry she's not improving:hugs

You've been giving vitamins (E and B-Complex right?)

Can you take a sample of her poop to your vet for a fecal float to make sure she doesn't need to be treated for worms and/or coccidiosis?

It can be hard to know what's causing these issues. It may not be nutritional but developmental or??

The last one being alone if you lose her, maybe you can find another chick or two to be with her. I'm sorry things are not going very well.

Yes every morning I give her an egg yoke with vitamin E and a little crumble, she gobbles it all down. I give her 1/4 tablet of B and she eats it up. My husband thinks she’s having a neurological issue and wants to put her out of her misery. But I just have a little hope she might pull through. Tonight I went to check on them and make sure they made it in to their little house and she was on the outside of the house just laying there. I picked her up and put her in the house and she must have tried to reposition or something cause she stumbled back out of the house and fell over 😭 it’s so hard to watch. The house is on the ground, not elevated at all, so at least she didn’t fall from a distance. I don’t know if I can find any other chicks the same age. Tomorrow they are 7 weeks. I have 1 weekers inside and the 4 on the other side of the run are 14+ weeks. They have been sharing the run (look don’t touch) for only a couple days. So if she passes, the other one won’t be able to go with the big girls yet without getting beat up 😣
