Chicks not fluffing

This is my first time hatching chicks in an incubator and I had one hatch 2 days earlier and is doing fine in the brooder. Today I have had 5 more hatch but have not fluffed up yet to take them out of the incubator. One hatched about 6 hours ago and the most recent about 20 min ago and they are all soaking wet. I tried removing some of the water but the humidity is still at 77 and they are still wet. Should I continue to leave them in the incubator or is it safe to remove them to the brooder under a heat lamp?

They won't fluff if the humidity is too high. Soppy wet chicks raise the humidity level something awful. Put them in the brooder. They'll fluff up in no time.

Thank you! I wasn’t sure if it was bad to move them while they were still wet but I moved them like you said and they are doing great so far

I had to do the same with ducklings a few days ago. They were pretty soggy. It only took them maybe 45 minutes to dry once I took them out of the sauna. As long as they're warm it's all good.
