I have tried Broccoli, shredded carrots, fresh grass, daisy's with roots on them, yogurt,
Oatmeal , applesauce.
They don't like anything right now except their feed.

Any suggestion's.?
My chicks are 5,6,7,and 9 weeks.

Corn still on the cob, raw?
Suet cake is big at our house right now.
Hard boiled or scrambled egg, with crushed eggshells....
"The Elvis:" Banana, peanut butter, and grit, together.
Anything red...tomatoes, strawberries, etc. is also a big hit.
I tend to throw in 1-2 items together so they can experiment.
I always add grit.

I like the sound of "The Elvis" I will try some tomatoes and strawberries they are my husband's favorite hope he doesn't mind sharing with the chicks.
Appreciate the advise.

Mine didn't like yogurt at all when I first fed it to them but I sprinkled crumbles on top and they realized its actually really good! They now jump all over me when they see me come out with yogurt :)

Chickens are naturally suspicious of new things. If they've never experienced anything like it before they are going to be reluctant at first to eat it.

They don't need a lot of treats. A little in moderation is OK. Greenfeed is your best bet. Get something dark green and chop it up fine. Set it down in a dish and let them experience it in their own time. Chances are they won't at first eat much of it, but once they overcome their reluctance they'll eat more it. Give them more the next day. Usually after two three days they'll be all over it. Given their ages you won't need to chop it up much after the first few days. Eventually you can put it in whole and they'll tear it up themselves.

Put a cup of yogurt out with strawberries, and they didn't like it much, but the next day it was all gone.

Thanks for the info. I will try that in the next couple days.
