Alrighty another worried mama here. My girls are two weeks old today and feathering nicely. They have been spending most of the day out from under the MHP but popping in when needed. Tonight I checked on them before going upstairs and they’re all huddled to the other side away from the pad. It’s on the lowest setting and they don’t seem upset. Do they need the heat anymore? Should I raise it some more so it’s cooler under there? Should I just be happy they’re happy and not worry? Lol 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I would remove it from their enclosure for a while but keep watch/check on them periodically. If they have feathers they probably don't need the heat and may even be ready to go outside. Can you post some pictures of them?

I think they’ll appreciate the extra room. They seem calm. Kinda purring chirps coming from them. No loud squawking or anything.

Since the chicks are still young I would leave it as is for now so they have the option of using it (especially since you mention they use it during the day), but if they begin to ignore it during the day and continue to ignore it at night, should be good to take it out.
