chicks not using dust bath ?

i have 4 pullets. one is 9 weeks old and the others are about 4-5 weeks. they are outside full time and have always "dust" bathed in the grass. i put a dust bath in for them but they aren't using it. it has been about a week now. do you think they will start or should i just take it out? no biggie either way. i just want to have them comfortable. thanks

I've tried the man made dust bath thing ie me . well anyway I've not seen my chickens bathe in anything not of their own choosing

tried a old plastic dishpan full of sand, and to my surprise they ate most of the sand, and ants that it drew, and did not dust bathe once

Took it out!
