Chicks ordered, can I add ducks too?!

I'm a new, happy hen chaser to 9 gals (they were surprise gifts from friends!)
My chicks (20, plus the free surprise chick, plus damage control chicks, so 24?) will arrive late May. Ordered from Murray McMurray.
To house the surprise hens, we cobbled together a very sturdy but obviously temporary pallet wood/shipping crate house. I absolutely love it, will eventually post pics here. However, it is much more suited in design for a couple of ducks than hens. The hens are happy for now, but they'll move to the real coop later this week when we finish it up.
We have plenty of space to brood some ducklings, and then house them. CAN I request an add on to my order? SHOULD I or am I already up to my eyeballs in feathers?

As long as you're prepared to take on the costs of food and such, I would say go for it, as long as you have enough space for the others. But as always, order them later if you can, just so there's no room for avoidable mistakes. Best of luck, and remember to keep us posted!
