Chicks outside

Hello!
My Rhode Island reds are now 5-6wks old.. when can they go outside ? They are getting to big for their brooder.
Also when can I tell if they are female or male?

Pictures? Most chicks are easy to accurately sex by 6 weeks.

Or 2 weeks ago, really. If you have them weaned off their heat source they can go outside.
