chicks panting?

I have 2 of 19 eggs hatched. They've been out for about 6 hours now. They are starting to look mostly fluffy, but they are panting. Is there such thing as having the bator too hot? The temp says about 100. Thanks a lot!!

yes there is such a thing as having the bator to hot, but 100 degrees isn't it. I don't know why they are panting, take them out and give them access to water, dip their beaks in it. Congrats on your hatch.

Take them out of the bator, and dip their beeks in H2O!!!

Mine were panting too but it's too early to take them out (still 40 eggs left). How ever I lowered the temp a little.
