If two chicks play with each other hitting their chests against each other all the time, does it mean they are two cockerels?

not necessarily .. even older pullets will run up on each other with neck feathers rustled and 'mock fight' for a second when theyre excited .. mine will do things like that when i first let them out of the coop in the morning ..
