Chicks seem werid

Hi I have gotten lakevlenders and ancona chicks. They seem to drink water but there not eating? They were even panting even tho they just got in the warm heat lamp. For a while they were shaking but they stopped and suggestion what I should do? I did give them electrylete. One them were chirping earlier

How old are they? Chicks often won't eat for 48 hours (someone correct me if this is the wrong time frame.) after they hatch.

I just got them from TSC. They seem 3 days old?

Do they know where the feed is? Have you shown them like you show them where the water is?

Yes there drinking but not eating for some reason!! One of the lakevlenders were even chirping earlier!!

Also you may want to expand the brooder in a bit. They will out grow that one extremely fast.

I know but that’s the only box I have right now.

Oh we’re so post to do that so do I dip there beaks in the feed?

That is great advice. This may also be why they are panting.
