the feed stores here in maine dont usually get there chicks in until the end of april first of may. never bought from them i ordered from cackle hatchery last spring. good healthy birds great service.

I am going to pick some up from TSC this year. I bought 9 there last year and have been very pleased with them. I only need a dozen so I can't order from one of the hatcheries. I want to add at least a half dozen leghorns. I love the fact that out of 4 of them I get 3 to 4 large white eggs daily. No wonder they use them for egg production.

Our feedstore chicks will be great quality. . . They'll be supplied by us.

Some will be Olive Eggers, and others will be purebred BC Marans and Ameraucanas.

Their "chick days" won't be until late March, and right around then is when we'll start giving our extras out to them.

i went and ordered from the catalog.. tractor supply said they won't get theirs till mid april and only red sex link and rir.. and i want different ones sooner lol
