Hi, can someone guide me please. I have two week old chicks in a brooder. One started sneezing two days ago... I have given the one chcken VetRX in the beak and giving ACV and probiotics in water. Another chick is now sneezing.. Can I give Tylan 50 injectable to two week old chicks orally?? If yes, what would the dosage be. I understand that you would give an adult 1cc 3x daily orally. Would it be the same dosage for a two week old. I want to jump on this as I don't want the rest of the brood to catch this or at least start preventative medication before they also get sick.. I also have a soluble antibiotic that I can put in water.. I just don't know if it can be given to young chicks...
Thank you ever so much for you help!

Don't rush into antibiotics just yet. They're in a brooder, right? What are you using for bedding? If you are using cedar shavings, that can cause them to sneeze. Anything dusty can cause them to sneeze. Are they showing any other symptoms? Are they lively, eating and drinking?

I am using pine chips not cedar. I clean the brooder daily.. I gave them this issue as I have two hens outside that had congestion. It spread to the roos I was going to cull this week for meat. I brought it in on my clothes.. I wash my hands and use sanitizing gel every time I come in the house. I didn't know the outside birds were sick for about five days and was cleaning all houses, and runs on a weekly basis but the brooders daily.. I give probiotics and ACV in water.. I noticed a few nights ago I heard a high chirp from the bathroom.. I noticed one chick shaking it's head.. I used the VetRX in the mouth on the one chick. I noticed she has slight diareaha. Now another chick is shaking her head and slightly congested.. There are six chicks in this brooder.. The high chirp went away for a day on the original chick but today is not back.. At this point all six chicks are exposed so I don't think separation would help the other four.. All are eating and pooping and active. I have put oxytetracycline in the water as I could get anyone to help. I am new to chickens and just freaking as this poor chick is chirping on a regular basis.. I feel so guilty....
