Chicks walkin on whole leg

I have two day old chicks (out of 17 hatched) that are walking on their whole leg as though they have no flexibility at their ankle joint. I picked one up and it seems the joint can bend but you wouldn't know it by watching them. The feet don't appear defective to me and I don't think it is spraddle leg unless it is a very mild case since the legs dont seem to stick out way to the side. Any ideas??

Most likely a vitamin deficiency. I recommend Avian Super Pack. Dosage is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water for 5 days. Make it fresh daily.
