I don't think she has fallen on her back today, at least I haven't found her on her back. I did keep her in the house last night to keep an eye on her and I never found her on her back. She seems to be doing well so far.

So I took my chick to the vet today and the vet said that she broke her wing when she was smaller. (I think that she broke it during shipping or while she was hatching) So while the wing was healing the bone thickened and the supporting tissue had contractures. So basically her wing is paralyzed.

She's actually a Dominique, looks very similar to Barred Rocks but Dominique's have rose combs, not single combs.

I thought I'd just update on my little girl, she's been doing very well and getting around perfectly fine! She's laying eggs and is very happy! She's super super sweet, due to getting lots of extra attention! You can sort of see how her wing is now in the picture below.
We named her Angel, as we first thought she had angel wing.

Angel is lovely

Unfortunately, Angel passed away a couple days ago, sadly.
She became ill suddenly, and before I could do anything and find out what was wrong she didn't make it.
I'll miss her so so much, she was such a special and sweet hen and I'm sad to not have her around anymore.
RIP Angel, love you always and forever!
