I have two Polish chicks that we hatched; they are 2 weeks old. They are struggling to walk and have poor balance.

I’ve been giving them some vitamin b complex. Is that the best treatment? What else can I do to help them get better?

Here’s a video of what they look like.

How much are you giving? I would give 1/4-1/2 tablet of b complex crushed into a little food or egg to each one daily. Be sure that it is B complex not B 12. Post a picture of the one you have since it needs to have riboflavin (B2) in it. The one in the back seems to be having more trouble. I would work on her, and make sure that she is getting plenty of food and water. A chick sling might be helpful if ahe is sitting constantly.

Here is the one I’m using; looks like it does have riboflavin, so that’s good. But thanks to your comment I just realized they have been sharing a dose for one (1/4 tablet). I will fix that so they each get their own dose.

Treatment started yesterday, and the one in the front seems to be making some small progress which is good. I am more worried about the one in the back for sure. Is the purpose of the sling to keep her legs straight out…? How is it done?
