They eat fine and seem to be a nice rowdy bunch and I have always raised in a brooder this is our first experience with mama doing the work so maybe I'm just too nervous.

I would let them drink the water with the ACV ( with the mother) and see if that helps.

OK I always waited a week or 2 before starting the ACV because I'm a worry wart and was scared they wouldn't drink it and would get dehydrated.

Do some research on ACV and calcium depletion *before* you start adding ACV to their water every day. All things in moderation, including ACV, IMNSHO.

Hmmm I hadn't ever heard that before I will have to look into that. Thanks
