Chicks won’t go in tunnel?

My 2x silkie chicks are just under a week old I made a brooder in a tote box I noticed one was trying to attack my other then I noticed they was pecking out their own feathers also so I put it down to boredom I’ve recently extended into 2 totes with a tunnel so they can have a chilled area an a activity playground area but I can’t get them to go through the tunnel didn’t want to scare them or stress them out so didn’t force them left them to see if they would explore it themselves but that’s not going to plan either any ideas?
Any advice welcome

Update I shortened the tunnel an let more light in an they go through now
