They both did. They're almost running now & climbing on each other like the others do (still isolated, of course). Thank you for asking!

She lost 3 last night.

So this post may sound a bit morbid, but..... I was really curious about the outcome after the first three days. The percentages that you had posted earlier were really incredible. What are the totals at now as far as loss/live?
I am totally high-jacking your post and know you wanted help. Just trying to compile data on breeders.
Thanks for your help.

We're down to about 224-5 or so now & no deaths today. The last death was more than 24h ago, which is still an amazingly low loss rate for a fragile bird (still less than 10% on a HUGE order)! Of the 3 in the dishpan, 2 are gone, but one of the "drowned rats" is still going. If he's still doing well in about 2 days, he'll be integrated with the rest.

We're still above our original order number which was 222. All we can do now is hope & pray!

And I don't mind the "thread jack." Personally I love a good thread jack & I'm always willing to pass on what information I can. I think that's what makes us, the willingness to share what we've learned.

I guess the main reason that I was asking was that I have 35 coming from Welp next month. First time ordering from them.
Your original numbers were staggering. Now you are getting back to what I am used to. I was just being optimistic thinking I could get some better results.
10% is about my average. Thanks for replying though.
