Hi folks,

Looking for an id. We got 5 chicks tonight and I was off getting other stuff when they boxed them for my husband. The two with distinct stripes dont quite look like RIRs to me. Any other breed is fine with me, just hoping we didnt end up with turkeys. Note to self don't let husband get chicks anymore.

Looks like Easter Eggers to me. Definitely not turkeys. I’ll let others comment. He didn’t tell you what he bought?

TSC I told him get 3 reds and 2 favorelles. But I doubt he paid attention when they put them in. And I didn't check before we left. Any breed is fine, I just didnt want to end up with a new yard turkey.

I've never had EE before! The more I look the more they do look like that though. Good with me!

EE is a good standard breed cold and heat hardy. Good layers for colored eggs. Any chance you commented on any breed will be fine with me at the store? They may have taken that to ❤️. I have been contemplating an EE lately for colored eggs. Have fun. They are so cute!

All reddish chicks in the same tub so I doubt they even looked.

Definately not RIR or SF. I guess you can compare to breed photos as they grow to be sure they appear like EE. Couple different breeds can have similar striping and coloring.
