Chicks

My bantam hen started sitting or became broody first of February an I’m wondering how long it will take for them to grow big enough so as not to be eaten by snakes

No bantam will ever get that big! Chicks should have a week or two at least, with mama, in a safe place, so they can move better, and focus on staying with her. I've lost chicks, and broody hens defending them, while they free range. Especially bantams.
