Meyer Hatchery is where I got mine from - coming on Tuesday of next week. Orders before March 30 have a minimum of 8 but after April 1 can order as few as 3. Depending on what you want, their selection is getting limited due to timing. They are located in Ohio. Our main home is in Prior Lake, MN, but we spend a LOT of time at our place in Spooner, WI (NW WI) as we have an apple orchard and large gardens and this is eventually where the chickens will be. Where in WI are you?

We’ve had chickens for a while and one of my favorite winter hardy ones are Cochins. they are super funny to watch and are really nice. my only problem with them is sometimes they get really hot in the summer and, when they get broody they’re not very nice. And they are more show chickens and aren’t great great layers

I looked at Hoover hatchery's selection of breeds. The didn't have Rhode Island Whites listed. Were they single comb or rose comb. Years ago I was sold some RIW's but they were single comb. Ihonestly cannot remmebre I bought the 2 years ago and they were straight run and had to get rid of them due to only allowed one rooster where I lve but last year a friend ordered in 20 hens i will look after this quarantine is over
