I finally got my first chickens today, and couldn't be more excited. I have 3 straight run production blues, 3 straight run americauna and 1 mystery breed pullet. They are adorable, and I hope I know what I've gotten myself into!

The little yellow one. My 5 year old named her Baby Elys Mom, and I convinced him to shorten it to Bem.

Awe! Love them! It's awesome that you got your little ones involved with naming them. My little four year old named one "girl" because they are girls and named another one Rainy because it was raining when we picked them up lol
