Surrendering to Christ is not surrendering to any sort of threat…it’s a turn of phrase. I gave my life to Christ, he gave me peace and joy and yes it’s been a rocky road but when you become a Christian you are promised persecution on earth, it’s just part of it. But you are also promised eternal life in heaven if you honor and obey him by sharing the Gospel and trying to lead others to Him
