Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Yep," Alexis said unabashedly. Just to be fair, she scooted the ball towards Dimitri's goal.

Haley fumbled with the key at her door, wondering why she had even locked it earlier. She sighed with relief when she finally managed to get the key in and unlocked it. "I hope you're as strong as you look," she said as she made her way over to the window across the room. There were several long nails hammered into the window frame to prevent the window from being opened, put there after the one time she stepped out of line. "If you can get these out, the sunset is breathtaking out there, not to mention it's free from prying eyes and ears." With a smile, she looked to him expectantly.

Poor Zaine was completely oblivious to where all this rash sarcasm was coming from. "Andorra, what do you have against me so??" He finally asked, completely exasperated.
"Oh, finally. Thank you! My little kitten likes to play with balls it seems." Dimitri replied playfully as he tried to maneuver the ball around.

Haley's statement drew him out of himself. Dyrus blinked to focus on the task she required of him. Instead of answering with a negative or affirmative, he simply stepped forward, shifted his claws and ripped the nails out. Then handed them to her. "All better?" He said quietly.
▪~▪~▪~▪~▪~▪
" Your obliviousness astounds me." Andorra said in shock. She shook her head and stepped around him. "I've got to go. Donella, who is my real friend, is waiting for me. Look! I even fixed her a plate." She said as she turned to walk backwards. She then retorted, " I wonder why she's hiding in her room?....Oh, yeah! That's right! It was because of the last time she saw you? Chump!"
( :D She's not so flaky when she's angry. :p )

(No worries I figured you were busy. Life takes importance over a RP game, well most days lol. I just figured you were busy and you would get to it when you had time, no biggy. :D )

Eliana jolted with surprise at his laughter, she had one never heard it before and two wasn't sure what to do. Had she said something amusing? Ah yes she supposed her last comment could have been taken as a joke. But she was sincere, the restraints were extremely uncomfortable and she would like them looser. And she was sincere in her saying she would attempt not to hurt him. He was at least for now being rather kind to her, but she was never one to make promises for her behavior. She watched as he came over to loosen her restraints. She held her breath unsure what to say or do, worried any action might halt him. When he reached for the first band she couldn't help herself she flinched away from his touch. Fear in her eyes at remembering her initial transformation and the confusion and pain that surrounded it. She didn't like people to know that it was mostly fear that drove her anger, she hoped she managed to cover it quick enough as she attempted to stay still hoping he would continue to loosen the straps.

Layla looked at the flowers and such in the evening light as they passed the gardens. That was where she had acquired her new friend, it would always hold a special place in her heart from now on she thought. He helped calmed her down, helped her to be a better self and she was thankful for it. She considered herself lucky to have such a person in her life. After they passed the gardens she saw up ahead the area he had probably been talking about. It sat on the edge of some cliffs and overlooked the ocean, it was beautiful. She let go of his arm and walked to the very edge of the cliffs and just closed her eyes and breathed in the crisp evening air. Letting the light wind blow her hair away from her face she opened her eyes and spun to face Leverett. "Its beautiful here, I have never seen anything like it in my life. Thank you for bringing me here. " Layla said to him, just happy he had shared this with her.

Adrian was surprised by her offer to him, so surprised that he stayed completely silent for a moment. They certainly had a good thing going between them, but she had always stuck him as not a committed relationship type person. So his surprise at her offer was genuine. He had never had a girlfriend before, he didn't know if he would be any good in this role. But he liked her, and who knows, they could learn to do this whole dating thing together. "Well when a beautiful lady asks such a question I think the only logical answer is yes. I would like to be your boyfriend, but I will warn you I have no experience with this sort of thing either, but I am eager to try it out." Adrian replied with a warm smile, hoping his period of silence before hand had not given her the wrong impression.
Alastor was watching her every move. He was risking much by doing this. He flinch saddened him. That was when the ramifications of Ryker's work set in. Who was he fooling, he had a part in this. He made a soothing sound as he continued on in the loosening of the restraints. He tried not to make eye contact with her. He didn't want to seem li,email he was challenging her in any way.

Leverett took to spreading the blanket for them and look up at her jubilant words. He smiled warmly and said, "I'm glad you enjoy it. I also adore it here. But please, don't fall from the clift."

Willow flushed and admitted also, "I've never actually been monogamous before. This wil, be all new to me as well. You make me want to be.....normal. Less fly by night and more deep and meaningful. " She glanced to her hands in her lap, before glancing up to meet his gaze with a hint of shyness, as fleeting as it was. "That kiss you gave me, it rocked my world, Adrian." She said with her usual flair.

"Singular, dear," Alexis said with a smirk. Before the ball rolled into the his goal, she kicked it right back across the table to her own.

Haley nodded her head as she looked at him, a hint of a smile on her lips. She didn't move to open the window immediately. There was a silence between them, one that spoke volumes in itself, and she was simply enjoying it. She scanned his face, looking from his eyes to the strong bridge of his nose, to the curve of his mouth with just a tad bit of wanting. No, take things slow, she told herself. There was too much at stake here. She finally broke out of her little trance, and, chiding herself mentally, unlatched the window and slid it open.

"Andorra, wait!" Zaine called after her. Reaching a hand out, he tried to stop her. "Just tell me What i did wrong exactly! Please! Excuse my ignorance, but I don't speak female so well, so anything you think I did against Donella, was not meant to hurt at all." He looked pleadingly to her, dreadfully confused with the turn of this conversation and what he could possibly have done wrong.

Areum growled softly in response, whispering "I think I like this whole wolf thing." She rested her head on one of his thighs.
"I like this too" Rowan said, gently brushing his fingers through her hair. He brushed away the errant thought that it would be so very easy to kill her in this position, no, Ryker didn't want them killing one another, not yet. Besides, she might prove useful later, he reminded himself.

Dimitri chuckled softly at Alexis's correction. "My mistake. " He said with humor as he got ready for the next onslaught. He took games pretty serious most days.

It took all of Dyrus's self-control to stand still as Haley evaluate his features so closely. He wanted to look away and find something, anything to take her keen focus off of him, lest she finds some perceived flaw that sends her away from him. When she finally looked away to open the window, Dyrus closed his eyes briefly and let out a shaky breath he'd been holding.

Andorra paused at Zaine's sincerity. She tipped her head as he held his arm. "You really don't know? She likes you and she doesn't think you like her back." She stated simply. She looked to the tray she'd made for Donella and an idea formed. She only hoped it didn't backfire. "I tell you what, Zaine. At the risk of betraying a friend in need, I think she needs you more then me right now. How about you take this tray to her instead. " She said as she held it out to him and told him Donella's room number. "Don't make me regret this Zaine. " She warned him quietly.

Vasper rushed on the elevator and pushed the down button will elbow. "Hang in there, Amaryllis. Please baby girl, you can't leave me. I just found you." He whispered worriedly to her.

He stay close by her side as the both made their choices. He glanced towards the table and chairs curiously. "This was so different from the lab, where food was shove through a slot in the door.

(Sorry, I was rushing to get done. )
"You don't get to tell me what you want. It's what I want that matters and you'd best learn that now." Indigo said with a dangerous light in his eyes and a hint of a growl in his voice.
Amaryllis nodded her head at his words. She was fighting with both her physical and mental strength combined, just like she had been doing every day of her life. She weakly pulled against Vasper's neck, knowing the position she was in only made it more difficult for her to breath. She coughed relentlessly, feeling the blood that came up her throat with the intensity of her body's conditions.

"Yes, it's very different," Laurel replied slowly as she made a last minute choice to fill her plate with, "Even with my father I didn't have this freedom. Usually I snuck into the kitchen and hoped I wouldn't be caught taking food." She admitted with a faint smile.

"Why? Why do I have to listen to you!?"
Cyra demanded, overlooking Indigo harshly.

Alexis went easy on him, but not so much that he was ever ahead. Her pride was too much for that. "So you've really never seen a foosball table before," she mused, shaking her head incredulously.

Haley tossed the nails onto the bed, then pushed herself up onto the sill before swinging her legs over. Checking down below to make sure there was no one, she then grabbed the upper part of the window as she carefully put her feet down on the roof. She moved away to give him room to get out as well as keep a safe distance between them.

Somehow Zaine wasn't surprised with her reply, only all the more frustrated with himself for handling this situation so loosely. He took the tray with a grateful smile. "I'll try my best," he said honestly. "Thank you, Andorra."

Areum slowly ebbed away, her eyelids closing and her restful form more limp as she slept, breathing softly.
