Ashton frowned in thought then burst into giggles as the meaning struck her. "Oh Allen, your encourageable. Really you are!" She teased through the giggles.

"Alright, we'll be ready and waiting for your arrival. I'm heading to Ryker's lab now." Alastor explained as he motioned for Layla to follow him, still on the phone with Haley.

Alexis took it without hesitation, then proceeded to pull him along with her towards the door. "Homework is the worst, but it's much easier with good company," she stated.

Allen gave her a toothy smile. "What would life be without a little fun?" He chuckled at her laughter.

"Sounds good," Haley said before hanging up. Ryker's hands were obviously occupied so she slid the phone in her pocket and hurried her step to catch up with them.

Vasper smiled sadly and admitted, " I don't want to get you in trouble with Haley. She doesn't seem to like me and rightly so.she didn't appreciate our previous sleeping arrangements. I shudder to think what she'd do when she finds me in your room."

"Oh? Is that right? Well enlighten me with a good, non-biased, perfectly probable storytelling of total predictability." Razeth said jokingly as he settled in for the story she would read aloud.

"I forgot," Amaryllis admitted quietly with a frown, "I'm sorry for getting you in trouble earlier. I don't understand why she was mad with us, but as my friend I must honor her opinion." She explained gently. Disappointed as she was she held back from telling Vasper how lonely she would be when he left.

Laurel read aloud the first written story of Cinderella. That was undoubtedly her favorite fairytalw.

"I forgot," Amaryllis admitted quietly with a frown, "I'm sorry for getting you in trouble earlier. I don't understand why she was mad with us, but as my friend I must honor her opinion." She explained gently. Disappointed as she was she held back from telling Vasper how lonely she would be when he left.

"I'm not sorry for our time together and I'd do it again. I slep like I haven't in years. If only there was a way to have others understand that we need eachother. That our companionship isn't about the carnal sins of the fleash, but about a platonic healing of a deep hurt that only we can sooth in each other." Vasper stated with heartfelt sincerity. But he knew it was impossible given who he was. He stood to go, but paused as he slipped off his outer shirt and handed it to Amaryllis. "I have your scent still on my comforter, it has been helpful. Perhaps my scent will help you without requiring my presence." He said quietly as he balled up the shirt, feeling quite ridiculous at the suggestion. Look at you, you're just a creepy animal Vasper. She's far better off without you near her and you know it's the truth. He thought to himself hatefully. "I'm sorry, I should go now." He replied with conviction.

Razeth listened intently as she read. Not to the story or the words, but to the lull of Laurel's lovely voice. She was thoroughly enjoying the story to the point it transcended mere ink on a page. For it lived in her imagination and through her mannerisms as she animated the words aloud.

"Well that's a relief," Lucy said, sighing dramatically. She dumped her books on her bed before seating herself beside the mess. Looking to Andorra, she said, "Thanks. And I'm sorry you've had a bad night."

Andorra smiled slightly as she slipped out full from under the bed. "Thanks." She said quietly to Lucy as he wrapped her arms around her legs and rested her chin on her knees. "So what are you, if you don't mind telling?" She asked curiously.

Dimitri grinned from ear to ear as Alexis took to leading him along. He adored this minx of a house cat. She was more cunning than any tigress could ever dream of being."A fairy statement there. How does that saying go? Oh yes, misery loves company." Dimitri replied with a chuckle.

"So right you are." Ashton stated with genuine agreement. She then settled and looked around the cave. It was more fun with company down here. Less doom and gloom, regardless of how she tried to spruce it up.

They'd made good progress, for they were almost at the front doors to the mansion.

Andorra smiled slightly as she slipped out full from under the bed. "Thanks." She said quietly to Lucy as he wrapped her arms around her legs and rested her chin on her knees. "So what are you, if you don't mind telling?" She asked curiously.

"Coon," Lucy stated, a bit of pride in her voice. She slipped off her shoes and nudged them under the bed. "And my roommate?" She looked questioningly to Donella.

His cell could get awfully lonely but these random outings made it all worthwhile. "So what do you do down here?" He asked.

"Kodkod" Donella said, shifting to her tiny 'big' cat form to show her then returning to her human form. "It's a cat native to Chile, very secretive and barely ever seen. They usually are a grey tabby color but I got the melenestick form."

"Aww, I love racoons! " Andorra said pleasantly. She remembered when she was a kid, she used to help them get out of dumpsters with a strategically-placed board so that they could climb out. Expecially the mornings before the trash men came. She smiled happily as Donella showed Lucy her cute form.
