Amara was a bit shocked by his reaction, she could tell he was uncomfortable and instantly regretted having asked the question at all. "I am sorry I didn't mean to make this weird. Lets just forget I asked, ok?" She said quickly, she didn't know if she believed that he would have hurt her back then, but she hadn't known him before this so it was possible. But it was hard to imagine him being so different.

Casey nodded and looked back to his plate again. "It is bad when getting kidnapped and experimented on makes you a better person, but I am glad I know you now. I am glad I am good enough to be your friend now."

Amara in a rare bit of boldness reached across the table and took his hand in hers. She ran her thumb over his knuckles to get his attention a bit better. "I am glad I know you now too, and don't ever think you are not good enough to be my friend. You get me, even when I am feeling trapped with no way out you help me feel safe again. Without you here I would probably feel very out of place." She said squeezing his hand to let him know she meant every word.

Amara in a rare bit of boldness reached across the table and took his hand in hers. She ran her thumb over his knuckles to get his attention a bit better. "I am glad I know you now too, and don't ever think you are not good enough to be my friend. You get me, even when I am feeling trapped with no way out you help me feel safe again. Without you here I would probably feel very out of place." She said squeezing his hand to let him know she meant every word.

Casey looked to her then leaned closer to give her a side hug. "I am glad I can make it better for you here. This place isn't that bad, I just wish we had some 'outside' besides the roof to balance things."

Amara smiled and hugged him back, surprised by how much she actually enjoyed the contact. "Maybe we can bring it up to Ioan, if enough people mention it maybe they will make it happen. I mean they don't want us to feel like prisoners so maybe if enough people ask they can do something." She said surprised she thought of it.

Amara finished off her breakfast and sat there drinking her juice thinking about how nice the garden would be when they built one there. She really hoped she would be able to convince Ioan to make one, not just for her but for everyone. She finished her juice and stacked the glass on top of her dishes before getting up to take them back. She stopped and looked at Casey, "Want me to take your dishes too?" She offered with a smile.

Iris saw him moving in the space between Atalanta and him. She very slowly crouched down to get at brush level so it would be harder for her to be found.

Victor looked up, obviously confused. After he regained his composure, he replied "Of course. Sit wherever you like."

Seeing no one at ground level, Priam decided to go a bit higher to search. He quickly scaled the nearest decent tree and peered down into the brush. Iris' blue hair would be easy enough to spot, but Atalanta had probably changed her own to match.
And he was correct; Atalanta had managed to channel her emotions enough that her hair was changed to a dark brown tint. She pressed herself up against a wide tree trunk and was sitting patiently, knowing it may be a while till she was found.

"Did i scare you?" Lucy asked, confused at his confusion. She slid her bag into the next chair and took a seat.

"Thanks" Casey said as he finished up then stood too "But I can get it. I don't want you to feel like you have to wait on me" He added then picked up his dishes to take them with her.
