Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"That's me with a dramatic flair. Now a steamroom does sound wonderful! However, that would make me late." Andorra said as she got up to dig into her duffle bag for a fresh change of clothes. "I shall return, if not, know I went down the drain fighting." She said with a chuckle as she headed for the bathroom.
Donella chuckled and picked up a book to read while Andorra was getting ready for the day ahead.

Amara smiled back at him, happy to have him there to help her navigate this new world she had found herself in. "Thanks, scared would be an understatement though at times. Its more like terrified, trapped, I don't know how to explain it. I didn't use to be like this if you can believe it. I was like Adrian or Willow, social butterfly, loved being around people but that place ruined me." She said with disgust as she looked down at her hands, the things she had done to survive that place and after, she just wasn't the same person anymore.
"We all changed after being there. Most of us it taught to be more reclusive, less open. Makes sense when and if you think about it. We are not fully human anymore either, so that doesn't help matters" Casey said with a frown then shook his head "Don't focus on that, focus on yummy pancakes right now."

Amara looked down at her plate and gave a small smile. "I am pretty sure these are yummy waffles, but I get your point." She began eating again slowly though, as if thinking about things for a bit. She wondered if she would ever be that person again, the person she was before all this happened. She sure did miss her sometimes, missed who she used to be.

Andorra emerge from the bathroom with all but her teeth brushed, because she'd forgiven to bring it with her. So that quickly done, she was ready to go. "This is as good as I'm going to get. Shall we, my darling?" She asked in a hoity-toity voice as she raised her nose in the air.

Zaine chose to ignore those words. He was going to have a hard enough time getting out of the hole he'd already dug for himself. He got ready fairly quickly, then headed for his first class with a large amount of dread.

"You clever little conniving froggy," Allen murmured as he shook his head at her.

Haley chuckled softly as she slid into the passenger seat. "Why thank you, good sir," she said, smiling up at him.
Dimitri got to Alexis room and knocked on the door quietly.

Ashton's face contorted into anger at the frogged gib, "Classified! I thought I told you not to reveal that." She said sternly.

"You are entirely welcome. " Dyrus said with a smile as he shut the door careful to not close it on any part of Haley. He then hurried army to the driver's side and got in to start it. He then opened the garage before he headed out.

(I never woke her, right?)

Alexis had slept right through a total of three alarms, and the fourth wasn't doing much better. By now she had gotten used to the sound, finding it almost pleasant in its monotone noise, and she was letting it ring out. As soon as it ended, she actually made an effort to get moving out of bed—if turning over could be called that. The knock came quietly, barely audible, but she heard it and raised her head slightly to look towards the door. "Who is it??" She called.

"Missy, we've been over a great manner of things, but I can't for the life of me recall the no frog mention rule," Allen said, smiling innocently. Oh he knew, all right, but this was just too fun.

Haley buckled up then turned in the seat so she could face him.

Casey chuckled at that correction and nodded "Yeah, waffles not pancakes. Right" He shook his head at his mislabeling of the food. He was just glad to get a smile out of her again

Donella giggled and stood up, 'taking on airs' as she did "Why of course, darling, after you" She couldn't hold to the character though and laughed openly even as she moved to get the door.

Amara looked up at Casey then wondering something in the back of her mind. "Do you think we would have been friends if we hadn't been changed? Like if you were to bump into me on the street and we were totally normal do you think we would have been friends?" She knew it didn't matter but she was curious what he thought. She guessed she wanted to know he was friends with her and that they were just friends because they shared being a bear.

Casey went still, frowning at the question then looked to her with his head tilted a little. "I don't know. I was...not the same person I am now." He said, obviously uncomfortable with the question. "I wouldn't have been good to know back then. I would have hurt you"

Amara was a bit shocked by his reaction, she could tell he was uncomfortable and instantly regretted having asked the question at all. "I am sorry I didn't mean to make this weird. Lets just forget I asked, ok?" She said quickly, she didn't know if she believed that he would have hurt her back then, but she hadn't known him before this so it was possible. But it was hard to imagine him being so different.
