Dyrus chanced a glance at Haley and said, " Most everyone embellishes things and I never minded before. It does add a certain stigma to one's reputation. But I'm hruthless when I need to be. I'm not a nice guy when I'm fighting to save somthing I believe in. I saw videos of the first lab's destruction. The loss of life and what the military is fully capable of. I vowed then, it will never happen here. It is us or them, Haley. That's why I hunt them and bring them back here, whether they want to or not. They can never find this place and they are looking, looking very hard." He turned into a parking lot to a mom and pop diner and parked. He turned in his seat to look at Haley more fully as he added, "I've never been inclined to offer an out to any of my other targets, only you Haley could bring it out in me."

Haley reached across for his hand as she held his gaze. "Not only am I very, very grateful I brought that out in you, but I'm also very, very grateful for you. I was a fool to go, but I can't say I dislike what came of it," she said softly.

Leah laid against the ground, singing that folk song that she still remembered. She treasured it too much to lose it now, it was all she had left of home except pictures. Her voice wafted through the wind towards the water. She smiled, enjoying the breeze. She paused for a second, before continuing once again, singing the next verse in her delicate voice, making sure not to mess up the words in Swiss-German.

(I am going to have him pretty much trip over her because he is a tad hard of hearing so unless she is singing really loud he probably wouldn't hear her given hes kind of lost in his thoughts. )

William was going along at a brisk pace as her neared the woods. He was thinking about nothing in particular just his life before coming to the island. He was happier here, had a better life even if he did lose some of his hearing in the process. A fine breeze picked up and blew his slightly sweaty hair out of his face. It brought the smell of the sea from below and he took a deep breath filling his lungs. He rounded a corner and nearly tripped pulled himself up short to a stop shortly before running over a young woman.

"I am alright." She assured gently, looking up. "I was just thinking.. Haley has fallen in love so quickly, why was she so strict to me for doing the same?"

Nova tilted her head at him then leaned closer to him "Hey, keeping stuff inside just leads to getting hurt again. I like you and I want you to be happy, so if you want to talk, about anything, just let me know. Please." Oh, goodness, she had said that out loud. She watched him to see how he would take it.

Anuerin slowly looked up to meet Nova's gaze. He was surprised by what she said, but easily accepted her advice. "I'll will try to talk soon, but not yet." He answered finally. It was the most honest promise he could purpose. She couldn't expect him to change overnight.

The context of Amaryllis's statement went out the window as she said that she'd fallen in love with him. Vasper made a soft sound as he stopped walking and looked to her with wide eyes. "You can't be certain that you feel that way about me already. I mean, I've never been in love before, so I'm ignorant of that emotion and how it feels. What is it like to be in love Amaryllis?" He asked quietly. He wanted to see if it was the same way he felt abot her and if it was, he'd know what to call it.

Amaryllis paused from walking, surprised by the direction he took with the conversation. She thought a moment, before thinking of an answer. "It's like nothing else matters." She hardly whispered with a thoughtful smile. "When your in love with someone, truly in love, you don't care about each others faults. They're outshined by the reasons you fell in love with them in the first. And in your eyes they're perfect. And then there's this joy, that can't be expressed in words, and nothing in the world can ruin it."
