Dyrus chanced a glance at Haley and said, " Most everyone embellishes things and I never minded before. It does add a certain stigma to one's reputation. But I'm hruthless when I need to be. I'm not a nice guy when I'm fighting to save somthing I believe in. I saw videos of the first lab's destruction. The loss of life and what the military is fully capable of. He turned in his seat to look at Haley more fully as he added, "I've never been inclined to offer an out to any of my other targets, only you Haley could bring it out in me."

Haley reached across for his hand as she held his gaze. "Not only am I very, very grateful I brought that out in you, but I'm also very, very grateful for you. I was a fool to go, but I can't say I dislike what came of it," she said softly.
