"For food, any day!" Alexis said excitedly. She hurried her pace easily without her weight of the backpack to slow her down.

Allen shook his head. "Nope, not at all. You're actually a great deal of fun, which is why I bothered sticking around so long," he said, shrugging as if he was the one to choose the outings. Of course, he wasn't, and he knew that. It just felt nice to pretend he had the option here.

Haley reached across for his hand as she held his gaze. "Not only am I very, very grateful I brought that out in you, but I'm also very, very grateful for you. I was a fool to go, but I can't say I dislike what came of it," she said softly.

As they step inside the open doors of the cafeteria, Dimitri looked around for friends. He hollered, "Andorra! Donella! Where are you going?"

Andorra looked to him and simply pointed his finger towards the ceiling.

He nodded in understanding and looked to Alexis as they headed to stand in line. "Are we dining in or out this morning?" He whispered softly to her.

" Allen you're incorrigible. Now are we going to do this or get caught?" She asked with genuine levity.

Dyrus brought her hand to his cheek with his own and pressed his lips against her wrist as he met her gaze. " I never dreamed of an outcome such as this." He confided.

Amaryllis paused from walking, surprised by the direction he took with the conversation. She thought a moment, before thinking of an answer. "It's like nothing else matters." She hardly whispered with a thoughtful smile. "When your in love with someone, truly in love, you don't care about each others faults. They're outshined by the reasons you fell in love with them in the first. And in your eyes they're perfect. And then there's this joy, that can't be expressed in words, and nothing in the world can ruin it."

Vasper's smiled grew wider as she described how she felt. He nodded as she concluded. "Yes! That's almost it exactly. But Amaryllis, you don't have any faults for me to forgive. You're completely and utterly perfect." He replied honestly.

Haley shivered slightly but didn't pull away. "Nor did I," she said gently. "And I do hope this isn't a dream, because it would be an awfully disappointing one to wake from."

(I didn't think that at all. I was just going to say that Anuerin may have talked with his father, but that is something that can only be healed with time, and his father's trust has to be earned.)

Vasper's smiled grew wider as she described how she felt. He nodded as she concluded. "Yes! That's almost it exactly. But Amaryllis, you don't have any faults for me to forgive. You're completely and utterly perfect." He replied honestly.

Amaryllis smiled broadly to him. She didn't think of herself as perfect, but if that was how Vasper thought of her, it was enough to make her happy.

Ashton growled as she balled her fists up again. She clinched her teeth and shook her head. Without a word, she turned her back to him and started get a few items to slip into a bag she'd found.
