Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

He smiled as she slid into his lap, he should pretend to be sick more often he thought happily until she froze. He swore under his breath, no surprise she would find out eventually, and it wasn't like he had done anything bad, not really. "Its nothing really, I went back to change and met my room mate. Hes a surly, not very friendly lion and I sort of punched him in the face. That's actually how I met Elijah, he stepped in and broke up the fight before I got a beat down. I'd like to think I'd win but lets face it I am not match for a lion on steroids." He said with a quiet chuckle hoping it would satisfy her curiosity, maybe she could help sooth his wounded pride at admitting he probably would have lost.

(I'm not sure, I'll have to hunt it up. )

(I believe that was my last reply, if you posted after that and I missed it sorry things keep getting buried in all the posts. )

"I was headed to my room to grab something before hitting the gym," Samantha explained, gesturing towards her door a few down.

"Ah working out, always useful. Mind if I tag along I enjoy watching other people work out, something of a hobby of mine." He said with a chuckle, then realized it was a terrible joke and that she would probably think he was a creeper. "What I meant was I have nothing to do until I find Amaryllis and hunting her down in this place is going to take forever, so I might as well keep busy until then." He amended hoping she wouldn't think ill of him. He didn't have many friends around here, not because he didn't try but more because sometimes the experiments held a grudge on him for when they were in the cells. Sometimes they just didn't want to hang out with a human.

Elijah smiled warmly at her, she had a very unique name that was for sure. Probably take him forever to get it right but that was ok. "Thanks, most people don't find tall bearded men 'cute', I tend to lean more towards ruggedly handsome then cute, but I will take it. Just kidding I agree I was modeled after the most frigging adorable creature in the world and I have no idea why." He said with a laugh thinking about it all.
Aquene laughed along with him. She responded "Fine, ruggedly handsome it is in human form, but adorable in animal mode. I don't think I've ever seen anything that cute." She realized how happy she was, and cherished their laughing.

Anuerin waited until Nova moved aside before using his arms to lower himself into the room and reach over his head to close the enteance. Once the natural light was shut out the automatic light system engaged to illuminate the room. It was a small room, half the size of an average bedroom, which allowed only a small space to walk around. There was a desk tucked into the rooms back corner, with papers scattered across it as well as various pencils and mechanical objects lined against the back. So many drawings hung from the walls that most overlapped the other to make room for newest sketches. Anuerin had always struggled to share his emotions and thoughts, but those things were impossible to keep inside. Drawing was a way to express himself. The black charcoal seemed to work best in transforming memories from his life onto paper. He didn't draw things from imagination, instead the sketches seemed to be retelling scenes from his life as they hung from every wall. "I'm not too good at talking, so I thought I'd show you instead." Anuerin admitted quietly, now appearing a little nervous to be sharing his world with someone else. He wondered what she thought.
(This post is pretty long, but in the next one I'll describe his drawings more ;) )
Nova looked around the room once the lights changed, going to the walls to look at what he ad drawn. "These drawings are amazing." She said softly after a minute. There was a great deal of power in truth, and she could see that these were not just random drawings, but things he had seen and put to paper. As scary as some could be, they still drew her to look. Her hand came up, hovering about an inch away from the paper though she couldn't bring herself to touch since she didn't want to ruin the lines as she moved, following the art around the room

William beamed at her when she giggled, he was so happy he could make her more comfortable. He made a motion of crossing his heart, "Of course your secret is safe with me. And thanks for trusting me, feels good most people think I am just a goof off trouble maker. And yeah ears are pretty neat, I don't have anything like that. The only think I have all the time from my change is poor hearing." He said with a sigh and a quiet laugh. He then looked at her curiously before adding quietly. "You wanna see something pretty cool though?" He asked her as he stopped to look at her.
Leah listened attentively to him, showing genuine interest throughout. She looked at him with a smile, replying "I doubt you're just a goof. And I would love to see something "cool"." Leah didn't know what that world meant, but she expected something cold.

"Thanks, Red Pandas are adorable, I have no idea why Ryker decided he needed one, but hey. I often come here to climb the shelves and find books most people forget about, why do you come?" He asked her then turning from the shelves back to her. Most people came to the library for a reason, for some it was just to research or find something. For others it was to get lost in the pages. She had the look of someone who knew this spot well and came often.

William smiled and took a step back. "You have your ears and well this is why I have, don't freak out, some people freak out the first time I do this." He said holding his hands out to make sure she wouldn't panic when he started. He closed his eyes and thought about what he wanted to do, the process of changing his skin to that of his Komodo Dragon counterpart, It usually started at his hands, feet and neck and moved inward like the turning of a page. He opened his eyes as he felt the thick chain-mail like scales cover his whole body and grinned at her. "Pretty neat right?"
