Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Nova finished her little 'tour' and looked to Anuerin again, absently wiping a tear away. "You are an amazing artist Anuerin, you can capture the feelings so well even with such a simple medium. These ones of your sister show that you see her as pure and innocent and so lovely. Then these of you...you show yourself as dark, cut off from everyone else, possibly unworthy?" She frowned and looked to him again "Anuerin..."
"Amaryllis is an angel." Anuerin admitted quietly, looking to the pictures to avoid were Nova's conversation was leading them. "You must understand what that than makes me."

Elliot turned to face Asa, expectant of being briefed as they prepared to take off.
Asa said nothing. He watched out the window, intending to talk after the jet ascended. The engine began to hum loudly from the back and the jet was soon driven down the runway at an accelerating rate.

Amaryllis smiled before peering down at her salad. She finished the last few bites and piled her trash onto her tray. "I've decided to talk with Ryker." She announced, releasing a deep breath. "I want to see if there's a way to give Anuerin's his wings."

Laurel settled in the bed sheets and closed the distance between them. "Go ahead." She answered softly with a weary smile.
Vasper had finished the rest of his meal as he reached to take her plate for her. He glanced around to ensure they wouldn't be overheard as he asked, "Do you think your blood will grow the wings back?" He didn't know Ryker had saved Anuerin's wings.

" If you'd rather I didn't, I won't Laurel. We can simply go to sleep. I'm still pretty tired from my ordeal." Razeth stated honestly.

"No." Amaryllis sighed as she handed him her tray, adding quietly; "Ryker has kept his wings in a secret chamber."

"Perhaps we could read it when we wake?" She suggested gently. "I'd enjoy the story more if I was rested."

Vasper raised a brow as he stood up to return the plates to the kitchen. "Interesting." He replied quietly.

"Ok" Razeth agreed as he leaned over Laurel to slip the book on the floor under the bed. He then settled next to her when he was finished. He chose to stay on top of the covers for propriety's sake.

"I think I should go to do that now, before I have time to talk myself out of it." She reasoned as she stood to talk with him.

Laurel said nothing more, immediately slipping into a peaceful rest.

(You do know Ryker is asleep, right? The whole Leverett thing ring a bell? o_O The poor guy just can't ever rest. Lol! )
" Alright, good luck. I hope everything works out great Amaryllis. " Vasper stated with sincerity as he watched her go.

Razeth soon followed Laurel in slumber.

Elliot, noting that Asa wasn't about to talk, looked over to Zoe instead, reaching up to brush his fingers against her cheek softly.

"Thanks, Red Pandas are adorable, I have no idea why Ryker decided he needed one, but hey. I often come here to climb the shelves and find books most people forget about, why do you come?" He asked her then turning from the shelves back to her. Most people came to the library for a reason, for some it was just to research or find something. For others it was to get lost in the pages. She had the look of someone who knew this spot well and came often.
Aquene nodded, before responding "I come to read Native American tales. I'm Native American, so it's cool to know a bit about what your ancestors wrote."

Leah looked at him in wonder, as the man in front of her changed from human into what seemed to be a dragon. She looked at him, realizing she was holding a hand covered in scales, not skin. She admittedly became a bit nervous at that, bit responded "That's interesting."

William smiled at her as he looked down at his hand, he had always been fascinated by this ability. As his scales folded back into smooth human skin a moment later as he shifted it back he looked up at her curiously. "Thanks, it was super painful at first, still feels a bit I dunno tingly? And my skin is super sensitive afterwards for a bit, but it is still super cool. When I have my scales I can deflect blades and claws, not bullets sadly, but its still neat. I, uh, haven't shown many people that talent." He said honestly with, for him, a rare almost shy smile. But he brushed it off quickly as he cleared his throat and went back to his joking self. "But ears are way cooler then my skin." He said as he continued on down the path.
