Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

" Wait a minute....back up Hoss. You punched a lion on steroids in the face? Why exactly? Did he threaten you or attack you Adrian? " Willow asked becoming concerned. She looked him over for any injuries. "If so, we need to report it. I can't stand bullies of any kind." She added almost angerly.

Adrian tried to sooth her a bit as he looked her in the eyes. "I didn't want you to worry, and there is no reason to report it. I am going to ask to move rooms, but I don't think I should report it. I punched him because he was being beyond rude, I tried to brush it off but I snapped. I am not proud of it and I smacked him right in the face. I don't know something was off with him, hes got some problems with anger or something. Either way I barely know the guy and I am not going to report him and possibly ruin his life here because I lost my cool and hit him. Either way I think we should keep our distance from him." He answered honestly, he didn't want to lie to her in any way, but the look on her face worried him. He really hoped she didn't make this into a problem, like head out on some sort of mission to find this guy.

(Adrian never learned Indigo name right? I don't think he ever caught that so he just knows his face right? Just wanted to check for clarity. )

Aquene nodded, before responding "I come to read Native American tales. I'm Native American, so it's cool to know a bit about what your ancestors wrote."

Ah so that was where her name came from, it made sense he thought. "It is always good to know your people. I was trying to place your name, Native American makes sense. Does it have a meaning?" Elijah asked curiously, after his discussion earlier in the morning about names and their secret meanings with Willow and Adrian he found himself intrigued.

Andorra shrugged, it was almost dismissal of her deserving to be happy. She was content in her life her, but far from happy. "My singing used to make me happy." She told Donella quietly.
"Singing?" Donella asked softly then sighed and looked away again "I wish I could sing with any skill."

"Amaryllis is an angel." Anuerin admitted quietly, looking to the pictures to avoid were Nova's conversation was leading them. "You must understand what that than makes me."
"Um...a dark angel?" Nova asked then smiled at him. "If you are determined to be opposites, you should realize there is more than just one way to do that, and some ways that son't paint you having to be the 'bad' one." She said almost teasing then sobered "Such as innocent compared to worldly, nieve to experienced. Her light to your dark does not necessitate a correlation to good and evil, that is a choice each of you make, each of us."

"Ah working out, always useful. Mind if I tag along I enjoy watching other people work out, something of a hobby of mine." He said with a chuckle, then realized it was a terrible joke and that she would probably think he was a creeper. "What I meant was I have nothing to do until I find Amaryllis and hunting her down in this place is going to take forever, so I might as well keep busy until then." He amended hoping she wouldn't think ill of him. He didn't have many friends around here, not because he didn't try but more because sometimes the experiments held a grudge on him for when they were in the cells. Sometimes they just didn't want to hang out with a human.
Samantha looked hard at him, slightly confused with what exactly he was proposing, but his explanation cleared it up just fine. "Um...sure? If you want." She shrugged. How interesting could watching her excercise be? To each his own. She turned to go. "Let me grab what I was up here for and we can go," she added tentatively.

Iris was standing on the beach, with no cover so she could see anyone coming for her.

Victor responded with a chuckle "You're about as innocent as a serial killer. But that's what makes you agreeable and cute, so don't go changing."
"Iris!" Priam called out. He pulled Atalanta's wet self closer towards him. "Let's hope she didn't get too far; I don't fancy wandering the beach when I could be cleaning up and eating," he said with a chuckle.

Lucy frowned slightly but caught herself and put up a smirk. "Well I'm glad you think I'm agreeable and cute," she said, inclining her head slightly towards him.

"Yep!" Dimitri replied happily as he headed down the hallway. "Don't worry little house cat, I'll get you there." He replied with a grin.

Madison sniffed the air and tipped her head as he dared to ask her a question. She walked in a slow circle as she asked, "You're new, I haven't seen or smelled you before. So you're not from up here. My right to be here it's not in question, but yours is. You're the one looking for something by peaking in bedrooms. " She stopped in front of him to look to his hand curiously. "So what's the cheese for? Are you hunting a big gray rat named Gideon? Is that what Ryker let you loose to do? Is that why you smell like Ashton?" She inquired further.

Seeing Haley was ready, Dyrus motioned the waitress over to place their orders. He also for the French toast and coffee.

Roan clamped his lips shut and nodded at the. He glanced to his food as he said, "Yeah, it's a pity. There's barely any windows in this place as it is."
"I know you will," Alexis said, smirking as he led them along.

"Haha, um..." Allen kept his smile up but it wasn't doing him much good, apparently. "Ashton was just giving me a tour of the place," he explained, then winced noticeably. His lying was rusty from disuse here, and she was sure to sense it. No, he needed something better—like really better, in order to keep Ashton and himself out of trouble. He cleared his throat, but nothing came to mind. "Do I really smell like Ashton?" He squeaked. He cursed mentally. Someone was about to be in big trouble.

Haley told the woman what she wanted, asking for only a water to accompany the meal, then handed the menu over.

Ares leaned back comfortably against his chair, tipping it barely on a back leg. "But I guess it is a step up from the labs," he said thoughtfully. A tiny step.

He felt himself smile softly at Nova's attempt to lighten the mood, but he reminded himself that there was a point in all of this. "I just don't want you to be hurt by thinking I'm a better person than I am." He stated gently as he met her gaze.

The tap tapping of her heels echoed through the empty room as Emily stood to go, taking her empty coffee cup and a stapled stack of papers with her. They needed a signature and she needed to go eat something.
Elbowing the door handle open, she pressed her back against the door and opened it, then set off at a brisk pace for Ioan's office. She didn't encounter anyone on her way, for which she was slightly relieved. All the students were either still in the cafeteria or in their first class of the day.
She had only arrived at the school late last night, her flight having been delayed by stormy weather, but she was here and happy to be. The relief she'd felt when she received this job offer was enormous. Life at her old place was becoming unbearable, full of disappointing memories and only the sound of herself to fill the apartment, and moving away was the very best thing that she could have done. Here, it certainly wouldn't be quiet or lonely.
She knocked lightly on Ioan's office door then stepped back to glance down the hall curiously. Perhaps she could find a student willing to give her a tour of the place later.
