Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Uhhh." Allen stared at her. "And you were calling me out for my random Little ares quote!"

Haley pushed his hand from the cart handle in order to wrap her arms around his waist. Leaning in, she whispered in his ear, "I think I quite love you, too."
"Well, that's why we get on so good. We're both a bit random. " Ashton stated with a wink for camaraderie.

" I can live with that. It was the possibility of living without it, that made my future so bleak." Dyrus murmured lovingly to Haley as he nuzzled her neck.

Amara was walking down one of the less used halls that could take her from her room to her next class. She didn't like the crowds and without Casey or Dimitri or Alexis she felt a bit nervous on her own. So she picked halls that were often overlooked, it took her longer as a result but since she didn't even want to be in class it mattered little to her. She wrapped her arms tighter around her books and blew a strand of hair out of her face as it flopped down into her eyes. Thankfully the hall was quiet as most everyone was already in class, perhaps she should just duck out again and head to the closet she had hid in last time.
Ares turned the corner, entering the hall he had found Dimitri on as well as left his backpack. He grabbed it as he passed, then stop and backtracked. He was no detective, but he was pretty positive that that was blood. Not surprising, of course, considering what had happened there. He recalled the bite mark: fangs, two razor sharp front teeth. With these puzzle in mind, he continued on.
Shortly after, he turned the corner, coming face to face with Amara. "Well, hi there," he said, quickly recovering his surprise with a charming smile.

Priam did as he was instructed, gently setting Irine down then adjusting her legs on the bed. He moved out of the docotor's way, choosing to lean against the wall nearby rather than sitting down. There was too much tension to relax yet.
A soft whistle sounded from Leverett. He motioned with his head slightly, hoped to get Priam's attention and call him over.

"Oh I think that's an understatement," Allen said, laughing. Random kept things exciting.

Haley tightened her grip around him, something like possessiveness settling in. "Well, we can't have that, now can we?" Goosebumps lined her neck now, the slight touch tickling, but she didn't move from the embrace immediately. "Please tell me we're the only ones on this aisle," she murmured, remembering where they were.

Priam glanced up. Spotting the whistler, he made his way over, glancing back at Irine. He felt completely horrible and responsible for the incident.
"You need me?" He said as he neared. Only then did he recognize the man. "Oh, Leverett! Gosh man, I heard about what happened yesterday. I'm so sorry. How are you feeling?" Atalanta had shared the whole story with him, and he'd honestly meant to come down sooner.

" Better under, than over. At least in my experience. You see, it leaves less room for disappointment. Especially when one is coming in with a certain expectation. Inot the event of an over statement, most are sorely disappointed. But when presented with an under statement, more often than not, we delight in the fact that it was wrong." Ashton said thoughtfully. But look to Allen to dismiss any ridicule of her offhanded logic, she shrugged nonchalantly and added. "Or not. "

Dyrus did a cursory glance in both directions, before asking, " If I said no, would it matter?" They were, but he was curious as to what she'd say or do.

" I've been better. At least the morphine helps dull the pain. So who's the victim of this latest calamity? I don't recognize her. "Leverett asked quietly, as to not interfere with the doctor.

"I think so," Atalanta said, grinning. "But he works hard when he's not reading, so I don't mess with him about it...Usually."

Lucy scrambled down a branch, then released, letting herself fall and trusting him to catch her furry little coon.
Iris smiled, adding “Well the more Indic you give me about him the more I’ll start to mess with him I guess.”

Victor caught her, setting her down quickly as not to indicate something else, although he wouldn’t mind cradling her. He waited for her to shift before escaping into the woods.

Claire could sense his frustration and questioned why that had frustrated him in her head. She responded “Life is precious, isn’t it? I think we would all hate to lose it needlessly.”
" Oh I have taken plenty. Too many to count actually. Shedding blood and breaking bones became so commonplace, not unlike the meat to a butcher." Eirik replied truthfully.
