Liam flinched like he had been hit when Alastor yelled in anger, he had never seen that man angry before. He knew he was in trouble now, he should have insisted that Sam leave it be. He stepped forward towards Alastor, "We uh, what I mean is, well..." He was not doing so good here. Seeing that Sam realized her mistake he decided to step up and take the blame. "I am sorry Alastor, I know that you have been trying to get Eliana to behave and I should not have brought Sam in here in the first place. I jokingly wanted to see how she would do, and well, it was wrong." He looked him in the eye, man he hoped he wasn't going to get in too much trouble for this.
Eliana was vibrating with anger, her whole body shook. She was prepared to lunge at Sam when Alastor came into the room. At first that hadn't slowed her at all as she shifted her weight to the balls of her feet before the strike. But when Alastor raised his voice, something that seemed out of character for the man, it gave her pause and she hesitated. She put her hand on the counter next to her and wrapped her fingers around it, digging her claws into the underside as she forced herself to stay put. But the act was visibly painful with her level of emotions. She looked up at the trio, her green eyes flashing as she grimaced.
Samantha wasted no time in leaving, though she kept her pace even, trying not to appear as agitated as she felt. Once out the door, she went right and didn't stop. If Alastor wanted to talk to her later, he'd have to find her himself. She wasn't going to wait around for him."Both of you, out of my site. I'll deal with you later. I have to diffuse the situation and right now, your presence here is a hindrance." Alastor snapped almost almost viciously. His eyes went to Eliana and the pain she was self-inflicting.
