Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(Aw :love Owls are really quite cute. How do hawks lose wings??)

Zaine wondered if Lyra had felt strange, not being able to talk when she was a skunk. Even though he didn't talk much as a human it was nice having the option.

(You know I am not sure how they lost them, I just know that they didn't have 'em. Poor creatures, it was nice to know they had a place to live and be safe even without them. )

Lyra stroked her fingers down his soft feathers for a moment longer before she smiled at him as she stopped. "You can shift back now if you want, my curiosity has been sated. I might have to draw you later though from memory, your owl is beautiful." She said simply as she scooted back a bit for him to shift if he wanted. She tried to take mental notes of his owl in her head for later.

Leah looked over to him, smiling timidly. She thanked quietly “Thank you for taking me here. It’s beautiful. And I enjoyed our kiss.” She reached over to touch his shoulder softly, admiring him silently.

William smiled back at her, "Your welcome, thank you for coming and letting me kiss you in the first place. We can have this be our special place if you want, unless we find something better when we go exploring." He said quietly as he reached out and took her hand pulling her to him in the water.

Leah smiled as he pulled her in. She straddled his legs so that was on his legs facing him. She responded to his former question somewhat dreamily, as if she envisioned the time they could share at those spots, "I would like that very much. Somewhere quiet where I could be alone with you sounds wonderful." She looked up at him shyly, hoping he felt the same way sincerely.

William smiled down at her, he brushed some of her hair out of her face, and gently tugged an ear playfully. He then dropped his lips to her forehead and kissed her head, figuring it was safer then what he had tried before. "It does, can't wait to see what we find." He hugged her to his chest, enjoying the simple comfort of having someone close.

"See if that doesn't improve the motivations of Elliot's handler. As I said to her, do not fail me. That is not an option." Ryker said as he ended the call abruptly.

"You look well rested. How do you feel?" Razeth asked quietly.
"I wouldn't be the one to fail." Asa muttered knowing Ryker couldn't hear him.

"Better than I have in a long while." She answered with a sigh of contentment.

Nova smiled at him and came in the mansion, looking around then back to him "That was nice."
"It was." Anuerin said pleasantly, though he seemed distracted. He needed to part with Nova, even if that wasn't what he wanted. He felt physically uncapable of being on his feet at the moment and if he was perfectly honest what he needed was rest.

Amaryllis unplugged the drain and waited for the water to empty before stepping out of the tub. She took a fresh towel hanging overhead on a rack to dry herself witb. She dressed and checked her appearance in the floor length mirror. The feeling she entered the room with was conquered by a new strength as she walked into the hall. Amaryllis found herself at Ryker's office. She knocked, feeling more courageous than usual knowing she wouldn't be content until she finished talking to Ryker like she'd come to do.

Nova smiled at him, though she noticed that he looked distracted. "I think we should head to bed, it's been a long day"
