Ryker looked to Amaryllis and asked, " And you're not biased by any chance?" He helped to settle Anuerin onto his stomach on his bed. " If it's fine with him, it's fine with me. " He amended his statement.

Leverett shook his head. "Don't try it. He'll take your wings if he catches you Nova. Look what he did to his own son." He pleaded desperately.

"You assume I would survive the flight" Nova asked, shaking her head. "I am counting on the opposite. Why should I stay when no one benefits from me being here? Even you are only hurt by me and you are one of only two people that seem to care. I hate to hurt you and all I do is hurt those I like."

Amaryllis shied a little and nodded as her gaze fell to the floor. She had no intention of upsetting Ryker, yet that had been exactly what she did. Quietly she walked over to the bed and tenderly laid Anuerin's wing across the matteress to keep them from falling over the side of them bed to the floor. He moaned in pain, but relaxed as he quickly fell to sleep.

" The pain that flooded his body as he thrashed for freedom irrelevant to him. He had to stop her. "Please! Don't leave me. I can survive anything, but that." He almost sobbed.

(Nah I kinda figured it out a little while ago. I was just harpin' on Nova cause I could. Layla is still gonna be pissed, doesn't matter the reason. Gosh this is like a horribly weird love triangle. Hailey, was that her name, the one whose with Dyrus now, she loved Anuerin, But Anuerin didn't like her, Nova loved Anuerin, still does I think, and now he actually sort of tried to reciprocate, Leverett loves Nova, but she might be with Anuerin now, Layla well I dunno about Layla she feels something for Leverett but is unsure what it is. lol )

"Stop, please" Nova cried out and turned fully to try to make him be still. "Be still, please, be still." She hated seeing him in pain, even more because it was her causing some of this pain. She tried to get him to stop thrashing before climbing on the bed to lay beside him. "Shh, shh." She should have skipped trying to say goodbye, it would have been easier for both of them, maybe.
