"Not at all, Missy," Allen assured her. Grinning, he turned around to give further explanation. "I'm just saying, your camouflage might get you peed on by a passing dog; you never—ow!" A low hanging branch thwacked him in the back of the head then and he dipped his head slightly, rubbing at the sore spot.

"I'll try to be more specific henceforth," Haley said softly. She followed after him at a slightly slower pace so she could take in he view around them.

"And that is what you get for insulting the tree spirits with talk of yellow warfare of the dog variety." Ashton said with humor as she caught up to Allen.

"Henceforth? How formal. Why do I feel like I should bow to my liege and dress in velvet?" Dyrus asked teasingly as he turned to walk backwards to face Haley.

Ellie looked at Sam before he walked over with a scowl, "Stop pushing my buttons or I am going to bite you." She said in a huff as she started packing up her snacks.

She looked up as Nick came over and spoke to her. "Nope. Did you?" She said giving him much the same treatment he had to her.

( now you got her a touch mad )

Samantha held her hands up in surrender. "Sorry," she murmured.

Nick glanced to Sam, but she only clenched her jaw and pressed her lips together. She'd caused enough havoc for one day. "No," he said slowly, "but you came over to say something, So I can only assume you had something to tell me."

Eliana chuckled and moved to sit next to him. "hey I won't turn them into shorts, promise. I was messing with you, mostly. " She said as she dropped her head on his shoulder. "besides you raised you voice and got pretty fierce when those two were tormenting me earlier."

Adrian laughed crossing his arms over his chest. "I did not cheat, I never cheat. And what are you going to do exactly?" He asked with a grin.

Alastor chuckled and said, "Yeah, I did. Didn't I?" He glanced to her head on his shoulder but didn't say anything. Just settled in and the time things be.

Layla had gathered some food from the kitchen onto a tray and was bringing it down to Leverett, it was a bit early for a meal but she knew the sort of things to put together it was simple enough. She was surprisingly relaxed and felt better then before after her chat and deal with Vasper, she was excited to get back to her friend. As she walked down the hall towards where his room was she hoped he was feeling better she knew he had been in some pain before. She rounded the corner and the scent of the one who had saved him before, the one who had stayed when she could not hit her nose. She clenched her fingers around the tray and paused to take a steadying breath. When she walked into his room and found them curled up together, despite his injuries in his bed she growled slightly but caught herself. She had no claim on him, no right to feel this...this jealousy but she did none the less. She slammed the tray down in her petty grumpiness then turned to leave.

(Suitably awkward despite not being his girlfriend? )

Leverett hadn't been asleep and startled when the tray was slammed down. His eyes sought the cause and saw Layla turning to leave. "Layla! Come back! It's not what you think. " He called out to her urgently.
(Lol! Be nice to him. He can't have Nova. )

Ellie looked up at him then, "Yeah I cam over to say Hi, and introduce myself." She explained simply as she stood with her various bags of snacks to put them away, giving him a bit of a cold shoulder. Although she did feel a little bad about it, maybe she should give him another chance. Ugh she needed to make up her mind already.
