Leah giggled as she returned to his side, oblivious to the fact that he might be planning a surprise attack. She teased "Can't catch me?" Leah was for once, happy. If she had just opened herself more, maybe her life wouldn't be so lonely. Then again, now she was somewhat naive, having slowly returned to her more playful nature that had been covered for such a long time.

(LOL, You always pick the good ones. And you know I am not the only one thinking so now. Plus you know every female in that school is going to try and jump him. Not to mention Andorra, she will be at the front of the line pretty sure. :gig )

Nick grinned at her comment. "Hear that, Sam? Some people still think I'm charming."

Samantha pulled a face. "You should get your eyes checked, Ellie," she advised.

Nick just laughed and threw a sugar packet at her. "Her eyes are fine, I'm sure. It's a pity you're not a snake; I'd like to see you slathered in honey on her plate, since that's such a good combination, as I've just been informed."

"From what I've seen—and not heard—he's quiet as a mouse." Alexis glanced around the cafeteria, checking to see if they were alone. There were voices coming from the kitchen so she put a finger to her lips to signal Lyra to be quiet. "Hey, I've got an idea," she whispered, beckoning the girl to a shadowy corner. "Let's shift and go see who it is."

(I had a teacher that looked like him in high school. Mr. Sumner. I had him for study hall.....needless to say, I didn't study as much as I daydreamed. :love )
