Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Iris nodded in agreement, actually pondering her statement some even though it was simply an answer to her question. She supposed it all depended. Sometimes the past could be better than the future would be or vice versa. It was all just a game of dice, really. She smiled, stating "She was in the garden, or at least near it. Let's go."
Atalanta led the way, heading out at a brisk walk. "So you've no idea who she is?" She asked, a bit absentmindedly. If she was repeating herself, it was because her mind was elsewhere.

Ellie smiled and nodded. "Now that wasn't so hard now was it, and yes I will gladly stay and keep you company."

Lyra saw Alexis and moved to get a tray and breakfast beside her. "Anything good this Morning?" She asked with a grin.
"Good," Nick said, smiling widely as he rested his chin on his fist. "Tell me something about yourself, Miss Ellie Honeybadger." On second thought, he added "Please."

Alexis frowned down at her plate. "Eh. Same ole, same ole. I've always preferred breakfast though so this at least beats what we had for dinner and lunch." She opened a container of jelly slowly to as to not spill any, then began spreading it carefully across her toast. "What happened to Zaine? Did the mysterious attacker get him too?" She asked jokingly.

Atalanta led the way, heading out at a brisk walk. "So you've no idea who she is?" She asked, a bit absentmindedly. If she was repeating herself, it was because her mind was elsewhere.
Iris shrugged, responding somewhat unsure "I saw her in the garden before...she was moving very slowly around, she shouldn't have gone too far." She tossed her hair back, which had been hanging in her eyes, before smiling as she pointed the girl enter the empty library.

"Noted," Priam said, dipping his head slightly. "I think that's the main cause for extended time down there, so you should be good."

"Haha, Well, we'll see," Allen said, chuckling lightly at how literal that expression could be taken. When she fessed up, he frowned a bit as he looked at her. "Now why Ryker?"

Haley gingerly moved the plant aside. "Of course. And if she was that kind of plant, I could only be ashamed that I've failed my motherly duties," she said with a smile.
"Yeah, I've heard stories. In the end, they're only hurting themselves. " Irene said simply.

Ashton slipped her hands in her pockets self-consciously and stated, "He's done things that haunt him. Things he wishes he could undue. I mean, who doesn't if you think about it. "

"Haley, you could never fail at anything you put your mind to. " Dyrus said with absolute faith.

William smiled at her fascination with the night sky, holding her closer as she gazed up at them. "yes it truly is, it has been sometime since I just looked up at the stars."
Leah smiled. She was at bliss in his arms, for once comforted. Comforted in his arms. With a smile, she pointed out a shooting star, insisting in a jesting manner "Make a wish William. You have to."

Iris shrugged, responding somewhat unsure "I saw her in the garden before...she was moving very slowly around, she shouldn't have gone too far." She tossed her hair back, which had been hanging in her eyes, before smiling as she pointed the girl enter the empty library.
Atalanta stepped out from under the overhang and peered around, focusing on the shadowed areas outside as she searched for movement. "She's probably still out here, then," she said quietly.

Madison tipped her head back and belly laughed. When she could talk she reminded with humor, "Well, you did insult his cooking that one time. I think he made you that meat rock for retaliation. We should wake him from his bed and threaten to cook him into a meat rock."

Eirik stepped inside her room and looked around curiously. "Is it true? What they say about you, that you're one of us?" He called out to her in the bathroom as he moved about looking at various things. He picked up a book from the nightstand to glance through, then set it down exactly where he got it from. It felt strange being in such a normal place after living in a cage or a cell most his life. It was almost like a museum of normalcy and he was just a visitor.
Saskia laughed at that, "well how was I to know he would hold a grudge?! Perhaps we should go find the meat rock which I sent back by the way and feed it to him." She suggested with delight.

Harper finished and stepped out of the bathroom, dropping her old shirt in the hamper. She turned to him and nodded. "That is true, would you like to see?" She asked him curiously as she considered what to show him. In the end she held out her hands and partially shifted them, her nails lengthing into claws and the skin of her palms turning into tougher, dog pad like surface.

(Lol! So fade them until later?)
Alastor put on some music to try to help his mood. But it only filled the silence that had become too deafening.

"I'm not a problem like you, but I can do a good job on my wigs, so you're in luck. " Willow teased him playfully as she set to working the tangles out and started braiding.
(sure unless you want it to be super awkward and have her brought to him now cause of an injury...it could be arranged lol)

Adrian sat patiently and closed his eyes as she worked with his hair. He would gladly rock any hair style she chose if it meant he got to feel her fingers in his hair. " well good luck taming it, it's wildest in the morning." He teased knowing full well how much of a beast his hair could be at times.

"Yeah, I've heard stories. In the end, they're only hurting themselves. " Irene said simply.

Priam set his empty plate on the tray he'd brought down. "It's strange, isn't it, this place," he mused. "There's nothing normal about it except for the fact that once you've been here long enough, you begin to accept it as normal." He shook his head slowly. He was probably making no sense and was likely boring her. "I'll leave you to finish," he said, stepping down from the bed.

Allen beckoned her into an alcove where they could talk without being heard. He wanted to point out that creating a place like this could hardly come without a few regrets, but he refrained. Instead, he nodded encouragingly for her to keep talking.

"You're darling for thinking I can be so faultless," Haley said, resting a hand on his arm, "but the truth is I've got plenty. Everyone does, just not everyone reveals them immediately."
