Zaine scoffed at the comment. He quickly brushed his teeth then ran his fingers through his dampened hair, leaving it looking only slightly less messy and haphazard.
He then purposefully waited a minute longer in the bathroom before leaving and grabbing his bag on the way out. The minor delay would hopefully put him out of Dimitri's way.

Zaiden chose the bedroom across from Ioan, deciding that he would leave the door open at night so that if Ioan got up he could keep an eye on him while Sophia slept.

Alexis closed the door and twisted her key in the lock, making sure to this time put it In her pocket, and hurried after Kenya.
